What else can you walk into a store, stuff $2k worth of in a single bag, and walk out with and resell without serials?

It's sunday!
I want one of those japanese Fender Mustangs again! Kicking myself for selling the one I had. My second guitar atm is a Modern Player jag with P90s, which is cool and all, but the Mustang was more my style.

Speaking as a guy who's been playing Mustangs since '90 or so, the new Squiers aren't to be scoffed at in the slightest - they remind me more of my old L-plate '64s than any other Mustangs I've played.
Don't get me wrong, my MIJ '69RI is a fine guitar - it's just 95% of what I wanted versus "completely damn happy."
So check one out if a Mustang is what you desire, if it works, great, if not, the MIJs aren't going anywhere.
Only thing that was replaced on my Squier was the bridge (the original run of the Squier Mustangs came with horrible, horrible bridges and I'm not one of the "Staytrem or bust, stock bridges suck" guys). Newer Squier Mustangs the bridge is perfectly serviceable if not vintage - and if you must have the vintage bridge, $30 nets you a 9.5" radius repro.

Mustang might be the best-feeling-offset ever. I've wanted one since getting an electric guitar.
Duo Sonic v2 body with the v1 slab neck is up there, as well.
Shortscale guitars are so fun. Especially with a Harmonic Percolator...up by the 12th fret.
I want a Cobain style Jagstang with a HB in the bridge.
Also want one of the Vista series Super Sonics that were released in 2012...which I will promptly take emery cloth to the neck.
Anything other than satin-feel needs to GTFO.
Edit:
YES YES

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO THE OIL CAN DELAYVERB

Black Fountain. Yes. I was gonna get Skully to build me a huge delay but I may need to get this first. I do need to conserve space, and this thing sounded great on the bass vi in the demo.

That's not silly.
Manzer'd.
Just think of all the resonance.

Just think about tuning that thing....
Also that archtop with the Charlie Christian looks sexy.
So does that Gretsch.
I really need an acoustic
Apparently the presale has started for the Black Fountain.
Pretty damned tempting. I'm gassing for more delay or reverb
