working on the noise section of the new board setup,
got the right and left done and this will be the middle board
need to tidy up a little bit but pretty happy so far
Liking the AM4 as an overdrive boost
This works as a standalone board as well as it does a noise section on the bigger setup
board is a steel plate so it is a bit heavy but pretty indestructable
Order is
AM4
Boost RVB
Algal Bloom
Feedback Loop (in the loop Noise Box/danoEQ/DL10/SecondVoice/PH3/Digidelay)
Out of loop to empress trem and volume pedal
The empress is great because it slices the feedback loop up pretty nicely

What's the swirly one knobber? Looks cool. Also what do you think of that Boss Phaser?

swirley one knob is the feedback loop,
feel bad but can't remember who makes it, really awesome feedback loop that switches to true bypass so there are really only four pedals in the chain when it is off
the boss is the best phaser I have owned or tried, the step function is awesome and it sounds ridiculous in a feedback loop oscillates like a fool
IT's not that old school swirly sound but that isn't what it is for anyway

I'd be careful of metal pedalboards.

Just watched a demo of that Phaser.. Woah. SO awesome. The "fall mode" or whatever reminds me of this sound on the microkorg where 3 oscillators are all sweeping down only. Sounds super trippy. I totally want one!

I dunno, I'm just paranoid about electrical things sitting directly on big plates of metal.
Plus fucking hell if you drop one on your foot.

Fix'd. Nice board duder.
I can't see a problem with metal boards - most pedals use the enclosure as a ground anyway.

Killer!
I've always wondered how the HM-3 sounds in comparison to the HM-2.

Boards finally all wired up!
Got everything onto the board and it does everything I need and nothing too weird, I sold off all my weird gear a couple of months back so this is a playing rig
Blackbird Pedalboards are AWESOME and I highly recommend you get one if you want some finality, Hopefully the bike chain drilling combo will stop me flipping
Signal Chain goes, Japanese Casino or Paul Rhoney Paramour>Tuner>Singing Tree>Grand Orbiter>Rainbow Machine>MSLP Master Looper (Under the board) with Digitech XP1000 in Space Station Mode>Demo Tape Fuzz> Timeline> Space> Polygrace>Twin Reverb or Homemade Princetone or Mellowtone Owl (when it gets here)
In terms of board jacks, the top two are the in and out, the middle two are stereo jacks, I have a Pigtronix Mission Expression pedal that controls the Rainbow Machine and Space. The Dm6 is being used as a looper. The two XLR jacks connect the Mr Black Reverb to my microphone for crazy reverb trails on my vocals!
Only thing left to do now is clean up underneath with some cable ties and drill in some rca out plugs into the side of the board so I can keep the amp footswitch on the board without trailing cables. Then I think I'm done!

Thanks guys for all the trades!
