I'm telling you dude, the BBM was the answer to the big "problems" with a big muff on bass. And they phased it in as they phased out the Black Russian, which was reviled when it was still in production--like, pick them up all day for 30-40 bones and have people shoot you funny looks when they see one on your board.

Then peeps got a clue, started ripping off bands like Sunn, Boris, and Electric Wizard--realizing in the process that note definition was for pussies (which is true)--and now, naturally, everyone hates the BBM-s and loves the Russians.

Which sucks ass, because a Black Russian was my first fuzz pedal, and I want another one, but I'll be dicked if I'm dropping upwards of sixty for one.

I've seen that one. Sat in on a bass gtg in the springs where this dude and his homemade bass came in and did the same thing. Yeah...

Yeah, I've seen that one also...and you can find Wishbasses in pawn shops there? Jeez...I go to shops here and find beat to hell Affinities and cheapo Deans. Just another reason why I regret moving back.
