It was really cool. I didn't have it for very long, so I didn't spend a ton of time with it, but it's pretty straightforward. I liked running it at the end of the chain to fatten everything up, and get some tube breakup before hitting my amp for some more...tube breakup. I was not as crazy about the gain channel, but it sounded good with the gain all the way down and volume cranked for a little dirtier sound. I'm somehow an effectrode and Tube driven Pedal fanboi. So this one is calling me. But i think i would have the same opinion as you about the drive channel.
If you haven't given it a whirl yet, check out the Fryette S.A.S and Boostassio valve pedals. They are easily the most underrated dirt boxes around. Everyone raves about Effectrode and Kingsley, but the S.A.S is one of my most treasured pedals. It gets that massive Sludge sound by biasing the EF86 to either a Tweed cranked well-beyond its potential (think Neil Young) or a super clean Ampeg V-4 with a treble booster in the front-end. Along with the Fuck Overdrive I can duplicate any of those brittle, crackly, sludgy, fucked up sounds that I absolutely adore. It's a very loud and bright pedal, though, so I can only use it with PAF humbuckers and a guitar with a tone knob. It's a menace.

I'm really not planning on it.. fuzz breaker is from what I can tell vintagy type thingy and I have enough vintagy type fuzzy thingies... well I want a standard type fuzzy thingy but I sorta already haz one so no hurry and the phasy thingy is like I haz 5 phasy thingys and moog thingy is still boss and shit

It is! Granted it was through my bass amp.. which is a mesa.. but really different sound.. just cool... I'll try for a demo tomorrow..
