Basically it's a mid-boost circuit. The second knob selects the frequency from 500hz to 5khz.

Currently:

Although I've run the DC power since I took that picture and noodled around.

Namely:
* Brought back the volume pedal I haven't used in awhile
* Have both my BYOC triboost (in germanium boost mode) and the And Aardvarks on there for boost.

New pedals incoming to fill some of those spots.. The cheap Joyotech OCD clone will probably get bumped by the incoming Truck Loud.

I was just going to mention that it's nice to have a big board and have what you need on it without having to fill up every square inch but apparently I is wronged...

Not full enough? Working on acquiring more modulation next... Probably saving for an el Cap and an Organizer...

Right now I have the issue of not being able to power more than this. And not needing any of the pedals that I have in boxes / not on this board.
Don't want to get another OneSpot; thinking I'll get a Cioks Pussy Power.

The Joyo Drive is better than some of the other OCD clones I've had in the past (namely, the Dano Cool Cat one). That said, it's often way too much distortion for what I want. I usually keep the gain knob at 9 o'clock..

Also, as the Gearmanndude demo/shootout famously shows, it's really loud, louder than most OCD clones and overdrive pedals. Although I use my Fuck for loudness and to add crunch.. the Fuck is basically my preamp for everything now. For crunchy chords, I kick in the Joyo Drive on rhythm pickup, volume down. Marshall-y crunchy chords. Mmm.

That said, I prefer fuzz and an amp overdriving in its tubes to distortion pedals, YMMV, I'm-not-a-lawyer, etc. :thumb:

Edit: After reading some tone descriptions of OCDs and then the Joyo Drive, I guess the point is that I don't like the particular overtones that this gives me, so I keep the gain lower. The overtones it is producing are too harsh / crunchy.

Doppelganger. Nice. Really interested in those... How does it compare to every other phaser/vibrato/ring mod you've tried? The videos I've seen make it sound incredible.

Calling it Excaneland and banishing all the Bad Pedals there... Throwing spent batteries and half cocked your modulation jokes at 'em till they LEARN...
