I picked up a used Shape Shifter for $60, and think its cool despite reading that ppl mod the tap tempo and its noisy switches etc. however,
I also am still interested in the zvex Sonar.
Anyone have one or played one?
I wouldn't mind being a trem freak. I love my ps-3 and seen a pic of a board where dude had like 5 of em'....
fuck it eh?

No such thing as too much tremolo. I'm a big fan of the Goatkeeper, has just about everything you could want in a tremolo and more (CV out if you're into that sort of thing).

The Dr. Scientist essence of molesting is a pretty good alternative if you're looking for a smaller pedal.

The only thing the Goatkeeper doesn't do is really warm 'amp-like' tremolo. It's too choppy and clean sounding.

You should want this—it's awesome. The way it changes your sound, even the noise it naturally makes is glorious. It was a really nice surprise.

I really wanted to buy a pedal today, but nothing spoke to me. It feels weird.

That feeling when you come back home from out of town, and five pedals are waiting for you to pick them up at the post office the next day.

Yep, Monday usually. He's in my neck of the woods, never been there though, hopefully you'll get it worked out.

Have you ever tried the Dr. Sci, Frazz Dazzler... low gain side is great.
This pedal is awesome on bass.

I'm really digging my AB-Synth again...although it really doesn't work in the middle of a chain. Whenever I wanna use the Whammy with it the pedal emits a large amount of white noise, which pisses me off to no end, but I'm trying to figure out a configuration that works better. P.S. The Elements can truly stack well with ANYTHING.

New GAS: studio monitors, audio interface, an analog-y delay with mojo (aka less digital-y than the Timeline, at least), reverb, MOAR fuzz.
