Really on the fence about what I should do as far as my amp situation goes. I am debating between getting a sold state head and keep my cab or selling it all and getting a complete new rig. Some part of me wants to go back to just a small practice amp and invest in another bass. I am kind of all around the map right now.

I've been to The Hobbit in Houston. Great place. Awesome burgers. A surprisngly large amount of Tex Mex.

Years ago, the Harvard Lampoon published their take on Tolkein's works...
Bored Of The Rings featuring Frito and Dildo Bugger, Goodgulf Greyteeth, Legolamb, Gimlet, and Moxie and Pepsi Dingleberry. And a roller-skating dragon. Harder than hell to find these days, but an absolute riot for LOTR fans.

A Place To Bury Stranger last night. That bass tone, oh my god. First time I've heard a bass fuzz tone live that made my wide-eyed.

He was using a beat up P-Bass and a home-made amp. Both axe-men were sporting their own custom amps, all decked out with Death By Audio aesthetics on the face plates. Custom fuzzes, delays, and filter, too it seems. All Death by Audio.
This interview is from the summer and says basically the same.
