We need to rebox some Behringers and get the hype train going so we can all have a retirement fund . Although I’m not sure how that happens anymore. The cool/hipstery screen printed pedal brands (I’m looking at you, Walrus) aren’t that in demand.
Well I guy offered me a grand on Instagram last week so I figured what the hell?
I paid a premium for anyways. I'll take a reasonable offer that's not less than what I paid. Heh.
So I guess you became a whore then? 28 seconds in...

YUP! Although in my defense I paid a high premium for this Draume so I'm only interested in getting my investment back.
And....someone did offer me $1000. early last week so I figured might as well start up there. I dunno'.
I'm perfectly happy just not losing money on it.

I get it. Just leaves a weird taste in my mouth when I know Knut. Just feels weird. It's fair to want to break even. No doubt.

I don't like it either and I shouldn't have paid a premium for it but I was so fuckin' frustrated at the initial offering website failure I sprung for it. I feel shame. And yeah I'm happy to just break even.
I had in in my cart that first sale when the website crashed. Really pissed me off. My bad.

Yeah wanting to break even on a sale is a pretty natural reaction.
I never would have got mine if it was above normal retail price though. It's a great pedal and everything but I feel like you can buy things that get to a similar place for the same money. I guess I just... Don't understand the hype train.

Yup, I don't feel good about it that's for sure.
Oh, and another reason besides wanting to break even for listing so high (higher than I paid frankly) is Reverb has that setting "turn down all offers less than 65% of listing value?". That way I wouldn't have to respond to every low ball offer well below what I paid, dig?
I was perfectly content paying retail that first day until the site crashed and I kind of snapped. I'm a bad person.
I will spend time in the penalty box now. Won't be the first time <g>.

Maybe think of it differently, which I totally get what you’re saying. It’s cool that someone is willing to pay so much just to try one of his pedals.
Me? I’ve tried two and they are fun and I’ll try more but i can’t afford the second hand market. ;(

I don't feel as bad now: Someone just listed one for $800. and someone has it in their cart! See? I just priced it $50 too much!!! <g>
(As I said before, some nut offered me $1000 last week before bailing out....crazy!!)
hmmm, approximately 11 miles? I wonder if Alan would do the front-walk gavotte with me?
Me: [lifts shirt to show tattoo over heart]
Alan: [ritual stiff-legged half-bow]
Me: [coquettish-yet-formal curtsy]
Alan: [places shrink-wrapped noise-synth on front walk; turns and re-enters building]
Me: [mad-cap sprint to object; above-the-head display to the ever-watching Elder Gods; brief, gleeful drive home; commence world-ending drone]

Oh that’s your Draume on Reverb? I follow your shop and bought the Tetanus Booster you sold a couple months ago. Your prices are always reasonable so when I saw that Draume and saw that it was in your shop I just thought “wow the market must be nuts for them right now.” I was lucky enough to get a Draume direct and I like it enough to hold on to it but if I were to ever decide to sell it I think it would be hard not to list a bit above retail knowing that if I don’t it’s probably just gonna be snatched by someone who is gonna re-list it at a higher price as soon as they get it. IDK I would probably just wait to sell until the market comes down because I personally have no interest in trying to extract value from something without adding value but I don’t see anything wrong at all with you trying to get back out of it what you had to put into it.

Yeah, uncharacteristic for me I know. Stupidly overpaid and trying to get back what I put in. Or at least close (which wasn't $800 I can assure you).
If anyone here wants it more reasonably off Reverb please let me know.
