Hologram Microcosm release? This happens when new pedals come out.Christophe wrote:Hexe Revolvers keep popping up on Reverb, it's almost like a "wave"...
Any idea why?
Everybody bought a Blooper and is selling their Revolver? Announcement of a new pedal in the making?
Yep... perhaps Microcosm + Blooper + the frenzy over stutter pedals...shikawkee wrote:Hologram Microcosm release? This happens when new pedals come out.Christophe wrote:Hexe Revolvers keep popping up on Reverb, it's almost like a "wave"...

None of the reVolver's on Reverb are the most coveted, higher sample time ones. That would be the DX 16 and up.Christophe wrote:Yep... perhaps Microcosm + Blooper + the frenzy over stutter pedals...shikawkee wrote:Hologram Microcosm release? Still a bit intriguing though... I thought the Revolver was thought of as a classic, not something you would flip so easy...
Except IMO the Revolver II is the best one if you're looking for stutter and CD skipping sounds. Its the one I use most at home and I was stoked to find another one for my live board. My DX16 is whatever. Its annoying to have to hold down the switch for 16 seconds if I want to use all that time. Also, you can get DX models no problem. Its often a lot harder to track down a I or a II when you want the effects that are only on those models.shikawkee wrote:None of the reVolver's on Reverb are the most coveted, higher sample time ones. The ones for sale there are therefore highly overpriced IMO. And I've had two.
Understood and agreed but I switched to the Tensor for that stuff and much more (or lesss).whoismarykelly wrote:Except IMO the Revolver II is the best one if you're looking for stutter and CD skipping sounds.
