Haven't decided if I'm going to wait until the 25th to open everything. Satan - if there's perishables or stuff with catnip that kittens will want to steal in the middle of the night that I should open sooner rather than later, lemme know.

Wrapping had split on the food gifts, looks like neat stuff the wife will dig - awesome.
Also looks like one of the small gifts lights up if you hold/touch/squeeze it right. If it's what I think it is, the cats and I say

That's already an awesome haul, not seeing the other goodies.

12 days to opening. I hope I'll get the delivery soon

Here's a recording of my first testing of the LAL Misty cave on the piano, wish I turned the mix higher, but it sounded a lot more prominent in my headphones. Piano is dry, just a bit of EQ and compression. There's some midi Organ and choir towards the end too.

so about a month or so ago, I got this in the mail, from denton, tx. I have the note somewhere in a drawer, but basically I was informed that because I was a motherfucker who opened last year's gift early, this was sent to tide me over until december. At first I figured my ss was from texas, until I realized the company that makes this, electro lobotomy, is from there.



Then a couple days ago I got this and it all made sense. Who's crazy enough to send pre-gifts and then giant gifts? None other than our resident Norway fuzzheads, in this case Eivind August. I went through the box like a 5 year old, ripping packaging and yelling like a fool to myself at all the incredible things:

I should note that each gift came with a little rhyming couplet explaining what it was. Truly a poet of the ages:

The pedals are fantastic (yeah even the DOD, I've got good plans for that thing), the food is great, the book/flash drive films perfect, and the cardigan is honestly my favourite part, haha. Blown away by it all.
