any suggestions?
Clarks desert boots all day.
edit: beeswax desert boots. Brown, waterproof, easily maintained (with beeswax), can be worn with a suit as well as jeans. I recommend getting the real ones with the crepe soles, not the rubber ones at the outlets.

Yes, it is a beast! Everything IS beyond Perfect. Outstanding.

No, not yet. Pretty great idea with The separate liners. I pull them out after each use and the dry so fast.
I think in fall i will get me an insulated liner.
Or another pair. Awesome shoes.

I literally wear nothing but my Red Wings now. I wear them 5 days a week for work anyway, but I've even started to wear them outside of work as well. Not sure what I'm going to do as things are warming up, I might have to get a different lighter pair of Red Wings for summer

Guessing pretty good since you wear em outside of work

They took about a week to wear in fully and be all-day comfortable. Something like 40ish hours of total wear and actual working in them to get them to a point where they fit like a glove now. It's almost like wearing in a baseball glove. They hurt a little bit when I first got them, but they were my first pair of real actual boots that I've gotten. In terms of padding, this particular model doesn't have a cushy insole or anything like that, but the leather insole has worn in.

I have eczema on my ankles and lower legs pretty bad, so I had steered away from boots for the longest time because of it. But I've just been wearing long socks with the Red Wings and I've had good results with minimal flairs of my eczema. When I had boots previously, the part of the boot around the ankle never fully wears in/stretches/rubs awkwardly on my ankle causing flairs. But the Red Wings have broken in all over, and when laced up all the way (these are mids, not highs) they don't bother me.

That's awesome,
Are they heavy?
Do your legs feel tired at the end of the day?

The only time they feel heavy is when I pick them up to put them on my feet. Other than that they feel light when you are wearing them. Definitely worth the investment and actually getting shoes that are made domestically as well.

I've been contemplating getting a pair of Doc Martens to compare, but I'm curious of the quality difference between the Made in England v Made elsewhere
