Update of happiness/excitement:

I used the Makerspace's mill to drill holes in 1590a (tiny) cases last night. Using the mill + digital readout I can get accurate within a thousandth of an inch. I did a lot of measuring, math, and writing things down, so I have a repeatable process for getting the stomp switch and jacks to be packed into these little cases nearly touching, every time. I also found out that the amp-style jacks I ordered need a washer or something, because the 1590a case walls aren't thick enough to tighten down against. So that's why the jacks aren't in there tight in the pictures. I also need to figure out the math and drill the LED, single pot, and DC jack on the top, but those all take different sizes of drill bits, not mill bits, so I saved it for a different night.




Note that the pins are all level, (or will be when I have washers in place for the jacks) so I could build it all on a single PCB across the bottom of the case, if I wanted to. It'd just be mostly permanent in the case once soldered into the input/output jacks.

Chopped a Jalapeno and a tomato, mixed it with 2 eggs, fried that shit up. Topped it with some cheese and hot sauce. 2 slices of wheat toast with peanut butter and cherry jam. What a breakfast.

Nope, just a boost based on the SHO.. Looper will not be this small

The looper boards are going to be just small enough to fit into a MXR-size enclosure, and I think those might not be tall enough, so I'll have to use the taller version (BYOC pedals, my EQD Hoof, all use this tall version of the same Hammond case.. not sure what the model # is exactly.)

The good news is we sourced another chip from the same series that can do 120 seconds of high fidelity recording/looping. And 4 minutes if you're willing to turn down the (digital) sampling rate and get lower fidelity.

And more good news is that I've been getting some really good tone out of my setup and it makes me really happy The Ghost Echo is a big part of that, as is the Weber attenuator letting me crank for real amp overdrive/distortion when needed..
