I know how you feel, however I think that when it comes to soldering and electronics you quickly improve with experience, well, it feels faster with this than in other fields. Somehow I fucked up building an LPB-1 and felt felt pathetic for a while:facepalm:
But instead I just used the parts and made it into a simple adjustable LED thing in the enclosure I was going to use.

So it wasn't a complete failure
It might not be a total wreck, at the very least you can salvage some parts out of it. I dunno what condition yours is in, it might turn out to be a small tweak that could get it working again. I thought I had fucked up my Shoe Gazer until I was informed that a single cold solder joint was all that was wrong with it.
I had already sold it though
