Mountainking Channel Chief is in, and I've been droning it up, really wish I still had a Polytope right now.

Edit: no pics no channel chief!

Thankfully I'm moving a couple pedals out this weekend so I don't feel so guilty.
Oof. That's a good color combo.
Got my EL84s in the mail today. Just need the GZ34 and 12AX7s and my ac30 will be back to rocking faces.

Man I'm GASing over my own board. That is, I guess, appreciating it. The Hoof sounds so good now, after we didn't get along for awhile. All the fuzzy muff toans for Dinosaur Jr riffs and muted power chords that I need. It's taken over as my primarily fuzz from the Algal Bloom.
And the Flashback -> Ghost Echo is just too cool. Looping on the Flashback, for that matter. Fuck with the And Aardvarks with the tone rolled off for country twang licks.
So many good sounds right now.
(Edit: It might just be that the new Ampeg GVT15H improved my sound so much over my old amp, and I've learned to really dial it in with the Fuck driving it. I can get a full range of clean loud tones to lower volume overdrive to crunchy Marshall breakup. But yeah. Good sounds.

)

Fishing: I'd like an expression capable blender/mixer to run my drone synth through my bass rig without patching, I'm looking at the Wounded Paw Expression Blender and I'm looking for other suggestions. Specifically I'd like one that leaves channel 1 at unity and can blend channel 2 from 0-100%.
Really Fishing: I'm also looking for a CV capable ribbon controller with variable voltage, I think this is firmly in DIY territory but if you know any builders who make these PM me. I might even go for a MIDI ribbon controller and look at some MIDI to CV converters if you can suggest a cheap/good one.

The GVT15H is so good, I'm in love with mine! Such an underrated amp thus far.
