It truly did, resin. I tried to get him for the ILF drone comp (he plays and I effect...also didn't know if that would be cool or not as he ain't a member) but it didn't work out. I'm going to try and get him to kick it one day and record some jams in that setup...Plotkin-side-project-esque...which I think could be awesome like build up a drone of cello parts with shifting and sub-bass and junk. Hopefully soon.

Jamming alone gets old real quick sometimes (and sometimes not...it has helped me a ton as a guitar player). haha

Excellent adventure lg!

I'd like to see what Matt Haimovitz would do with a Ct5.

Thanks for that Dandolin! It's good stuff and good listening (still listening, long track haha).

Gonna send it off to him and see what he thinks!

I'm feeling this as well. For the all hype around it it's just never sat right with me. Feel like selling it and getting a Gravitas would be a much better decision.

Yeah--Haimovitz is one of the most interesting young(er) cellists out there; definitely doesn't plan on getting lost in the academy, but he has a range from baroque forward with quite interesting forays into postmodern areas. Some of the sounds he gets out of just the cello with adventurous bowing technique are inspiring. I'd be very interested to know what your friend thinks of him. Maya Beiser is another interesting cellist....

For Dandolin (excuse the bad playing...was kinda hard to mess with things):

Thanks again for the cellist recommendations!

Great, thanks man! The Broadcast definitely seems the most interesting. Love how you make the camera shake with noise bliss.

hrr, yeah I was pretty negative. I dunno. I don't like one knob pedals. I'd rather just set the pedal up how I like it and stomp on it than try and dick around with my guitar knobs in the middle of a song. None of my guitars even have tone knobs. I dunno, eqd have released some awesome stuff, like that orbiter thing, but their releases in general haven't floated my boat for a while.

Dude, what on earth was going on in the second vid? That was also some rad stuff!

Oh, I was talking about my playing not the pedal! haha! Yea, I think I would rather have an mxr micro amp or a rangemaster.

The second vid...it is a dod FX94. I replaced the delay knob on the FX94 with an LDR for some pitch shifting (the og pot is going back...it is going to have three modes). Then I setup a CV controlled relay (in this case a random sequence from the EHX 8-step) to quickly bypass and turn on the pedal for sequenced delays (no delay and delay).

So a random CV source/LFO will create random delays all over...a sequence will let you play like half a riff with no delay, and half with a delay without switch (all automatic from whatever cv source you put in).

In the looping/sample modes...I think what it does is sampling random parts of my playing and plays it back randomly...I think it has some potential of weird rhythms if you play in 4/4 and the sequencer is 3/4 or the other way around or something.

Anyway, yea...next week I should be done with it. Thanks man!

Cheers man!

I used the same thing to control the DD-5 here and get some flanging (for a moment around 5:15 to 5:30 probably best to skip there anyway...that is where it get mildy ok) and weird sounds out of it with the copilot broadcast (sorry if you've seen it):
