Not particularly ILF, but I kinda stopped caring about using "cool" stuff and started just using normal stuff that sounds cool

The volume on the Muff is usually at like 3 o'clock btw

TS->black Sovtek Muff = BROOTZ ALL DAY ERRY DAY SON

that's what i'd do ;)

skullservant wrote:Yeah Prunes has this really weird nasty almost wah-ish snarl to it. I've got it set up to be a pretty angry overdrive but I've got the mix set fairly low so its more of a growl than a bite. The level is more than enough to push my Muff though, and it's actually exactly what I was doing with the Seriously Special Twosome. The Prunes sounds AMAZING on bass as well.

And yeah, I think I'll keep the AD9. Tweaking around in it last night made it more useful to me. I'd still like to see if I can't get it close to self oscillation on the repeats knob though. THEN I won't feel bad about not having the DMM on this board

In the context of this board I really only use the DD7 for looping. When I do noise sets I do use the 8 second delay pretty religiously though.

Essentially, Officer, we've got the same board. Except I've got a volume pedal and a tuner and my drive is pre-Muff!

The Prunes sounds really cool. I wonder if theres a schematic floating around I think my bassist would like that

Does the Ibanez AD-9 not oscillate at all? I can definitely get my Maxon to oscillate but it doesn't do it too easily which I actually like (I've never really actually used oscillation in my music). The other day at band practice we were just jamming and I turned the mix and repeats on the AD-9 all the way up and slammed it with the Muff and OD808 (this is all going into my super loud and beefy Carvin x100b half stack) and it was fuckin trippy and awesome. It was all this crazy psychedelic feedback and ambient noise.. So amazing!

How do you like the reverse on the DD-7?

Axel I'll give that a try

Yep, there is a schematic!

http://www.sabrotone.com/?p=2673

And the AD9 does oscillate, but its when you've got the delay all the way back in slapback territory. I like longer delays that don't necessarily oscillate, but are on the peak of just slipping away out of your control. I opened it up last night with the intent to increase the delay time like I did, but also bring up the repeats knob a bit so it wasn't quite as subtle. It's almost there though, and something I can live with.

I've not had the chance to play loud or through any of my amps in about a week and a half. It's been killing me, but when I do I want to send this board through it. I bet that the Maxon sounds amazing!

And the reverse on the DD7 is WAY better than on the DL8. A lot more fluid and workable. And I've found the mix control on the DD7 to be fucking PERFECT and not hard to dial in at all.

Yes there are...

Here is what I have been up to this week... I got a board off craigslist and some velcro and broke my no board rule... The tangle was outta control... Now the outta control part is at least covered...

I am waiting on some Brian and some more Tom ( ) but this is kinda how I will keep this board... I need another and some smaller ones now...

Below is my Purple Squier I put P90's from Vintage Vibe in with Jero's help the other day... IT RULEZZZ THE FUZZZ... :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:
