Well then, clearly the management needs some management.
Know what I'm sayin'?

If you aren't already, use the index and pinky to cover 'em all instead of trying to twist three fingers on there. It's way easier over most of the fretboard, imo. The problem for me is keeping myself from doing it on guitar.
That's how I always play power chords on guitar. I know it isn't 'proper technique' but it works fine.
^You could try a shorter scale bass? Or a thinner neck maybe, I don't know if it's a good idea to stick with the 34" if it's really that uncomfortable though.
On guitar, I use my ring finger, but on bass I definitely use my pinky for power chords from about the 9th fret down.
I will definitely say that a shorter scale makes a big difference. Even just between my G&L (34") and my Rick (33"), I can definitely tell the difference.
Blah. I really like my bass, too
But a shorter scale would probably be a lot better for me
Maybe I can gt a short scale for regular tuning and drop the shit out of my P...
Also, that picture of H18 makes me miss that day. Wahh.

Just found out I've got to do a drug test for a job in a couple of weeks, and I don't really know how long a time period they cover so I'm a little worried. I've smoked weed like one time this year a couple of months ago when I was drunk at a friend's house, so it's probably fine and I should just relax, but I'd really hate to lose this over some stupid shit like that (I don't even like it that much, I just thought "why not?"!) so I'm nervous. Woo.

What summit said. It's perty lame but we had a good run considering how places like that go, historically. If it was a grant-funded collective it would have more of a chance, and maybe the next project I undertake will be more of a legit thing, but anyway lame people are lame, cool people are cool, and if the turd keeps floatin' just keep on flushin'.

My son is 21 months old. Some other little 20 month old SHIT bit my son's face at preschool/daycare yesterday - WHILE HE WAS SLEEPING! Broke the skin in multiple places, cheek was swollen and totally red when I picked him up (4 hours after the incident, which no-one thought important enough to ring me about). Today bruising is starting to show up. I really thought I would cool off but I am so fucking angry. What were the staff doing? You know, the staff, that are supposed to be in the room with the children while they sleep making sure CANNIBAL FUCKING BABIES don't bite my son??
FUCK!
