Decomposer is worth the wait dude. That's all I've got to say. I sold mine and still regret it. Such an awesome pedal.

It figures that a Kool Keith fan who has a company called Acid Splash would like a pedal called the Decomposer...

Yeah I really liked Excane's demo of the decomposer.

What if he just doesn't wanna overextend himself?

Hi Chankgeez and thank you for your question. Can you clarify what you mean / how putting a shopping cart would overextend him? I am not sure I follow. My apologies, if that was not what you were referring to.

By taking on more than he can make... Some guys do it and some guys don't but I don't see what the issue is either way...
Emailing Pedal Makers is what makes life worth living...

Yeah I understand the not taking on more than he can handle, but I just didn't see how he could throttle that by either ordering method. Both ways he is still accepting orders.

Yeah, I suspect Alan doesn't wanna sell more than he can build in a reasonable amount of time. He's accepting orders, but on his terms. He's not making things easy or convenient for the purchaser by not having a shopping cart, but I really don't see how it matters if he builds to order. If he kept a stock it might be a different story. Maybe not though. If he'd be sold out of something, it just wouldn't let you add it to the cart and you'd be just as frustrated a consumer. So, if you want something Mountainking, why not just e-mail him?

The way you have to make a down payment and all is fine by me, but if there were a link to do so from his page I would have ordered some pedals. I don't know, maybe I was in a bad mood or something...seems trivial now.

I am much more comfortable complaining anonymously behind his back on an internet forum.

Sure, why not?
A little complaining never hurt. People expect instant gratification now more than ever.
I can't find things I wanna buy in actual brick & mortar stores anymore. Not even esoteric things either, just every day run-of-the-mill items that nobody stocks anymore. I live in a large city and don't own a car. I can't go to the mall out in the suburbs to buy shit. Forces me to order things online. Fuck e-commerce. The city's now an empty shell.
