seriously. you made the right decision. plus the DIGITECH EX-7 EXPRESSION FACTORY (supposedly) does those same Space Station sounds if i am not mistaken.

if not sell yr Cathedral to me for $175 shipped at the end of the year/january-ish.

The EX7 does only the strings swell, not the ring mods, not the alien sounds, not the reverse delay etc... i had a XP300 so i know all his presets

the strings swells is what i'm most attracted to. i really couldn't see myself using anything more. & i doubt i'd use anything else on the XP1000 aside from teh Whammy. IMO. the XP1000 is worth exactly the price of a used Space Station & not a penny more. such a shame. really quite foolhardy. that Digitech doesn't reissue that pedal. even if it means they just put it in one of those RP Multi-FX pedals.

Yeah, the big case is the modular, and on the top there is a Metasonix TM-2 and a Audio Oscillator (from 70's i think.)
