If this is true then the only thing that would make me buy an OCD is if it it'll outlive the Joyo.

I've found the joyo to be pretty freaking bullet proof, so I have a feeling you'll be sticking with it. :thumb:

We shall see. Going to buy a backup/second board UD. Even with buying two I don't have to break the bank and that makes me happy ha

That's the cool part about Joyo's, you can buy 2 and still not be at the price of 1 of the pedals that they clone.

HOLY BALLS I just had to catch up on 20+ pages. Needless to say it hasn't been an incredibly productive morning at work.

Just haven't made it out there yet. Actually, have a trip to North & South Carolina planned for the fall. :)

I love NC. Not a huge fan of SC outside of Charleston and Myrtle (if you are feeling ultra white trash).

Has anyone seen that Traynor are making 100 YBA-1 reissues? They've added in a stupid attenuator, but they're apparently affordable and true to the originals.

Well now. How much gain did these things have? Because at that price and those features I WANT ONE.

By far the best $40 I have ever spent on a pedal. Would love to try an OCD still, but this thing takes the cake for now. Haven't been this pumped on a pedal since I got the Pharaoh and Supercollider.

Nice. I really want to pick one up to push my Blackstar.

Trey, totally worth it. Probably sound rad with the Blackstar.

So, we finally caught the stray cat that's been bullying ours for the last few months. He's a lovely thing, but it's taking over our cat's territory and forcing her out of her home. We couldn't catch it and hold him a proper cat box, because it was wriggling too much, so we caught it and wrapped it up in an old compost bag. The poor thing was crying, and I started balling my eyes out. I can't hurt an animal. I was so upset. I keep trying to chase the thing away every day. We don't feed it or give him a bed. He just keeps coming back every time we chase it away or throw water at it. We'd let it stay if it wasn't such a bully, but our cat gets new scratch marks every week, and tufts of hair began falling out. This stray had to go, but I just wish we could have given her a home somewhere. Hopefully it'll be OK wherever my mum sent it. I need a hug, fucking hell. I'm such a pussy sometimes.

Bummer man. My cat terrorizes the shit out of my mom's cat. He also thinks he can fuck with me as well but then is reminded quickly that i am far bigger and don't put up with his shit.

we had a cat problem when i was a kid, the cat would even come into the house, and like you we didn't want to hurt it...but then we got a dog...the cat never came back.

That's rough dude, I'm just glad that you got your cat back and that it will be safe. I know the bully cat had run off your cat for a lengthy amount of time, so I'm glad to hear that hopefully the issue will be resolved. The problem with feral cats like that is even if you give them a new home they are likely not to stay and will try and go back to their own stomping grounds unless its far enough away that they can't get back. Hopefully your mom found a humane place to take it.

That sucks dude. I'm with you on the hurting animals thing though. My dog caught and maimed a baby rabbit last year around Easter (of course). It was pretty depressing and I just sat there with it while it died.

And I wouldn't worry too much about that stray - sounds like it can take care of itself pretty effectively.

We have a cat that my wife brought back from her parents when it was like 6 - she got it before she moved to college. This thing tried to bite me and scratch me every chance she got until one day I just held her down while she was doing it. That cat was immediately aware of how tiny she is and has been my bro ever since

Thanks, lads. You really are a good bunch o' blokes.

We haven't been feeding it, so I don't know how it's survived for so long. Maybe it'll find a new home. That's what I'm hoping and praying for.

Well here's a lousy story: One time I went to visit my mom. We heard something bumping against the house and one of my dogs barking. Turned out that one of my dogs had killed her cat. I was deeply bummed out and was getting all misty and she just fired off "well that cat wasn't around here for long anyway" and put him the trash can. I was blown away. Here I am holding back tears over the life of an animal while the owner of which (my mom!) had converted it to waste in a millisecond. People!

In unrelated news I played what is likely to be the last AW practice for the Stonehenge last night. Man alive that thing sounds so good with the fuzz. If only I could get my stage volume/distortion right without it. I'll miss it when it's gone

Just get all your bandmates to catch up in volume. Boom. Problem solved. Blammo. Kapow. Zip.

Ha! No the problem is when the fuzz is off I need my shit ('cleans' some call it?) to be smooth. In that situation turning up the Henge to where it can be heard with the rest of the band causes wicked breakup. It's glorious breakup! But it's just wrong for the job. A master volume would have alleviated this only I'm too big a ninny to think shit through beforehand.
