Come on Smiles...didn't you read my response to your question before?

When I originally followed his link, I had no idea that 1. Roseweave was LR Weizel on HCFX, and 2. that he started that thread specifically to "bring out the haters" on that board.
Yes, I thought then - and still think now, especially knowing now what I do about his trolling - that the post was a legit post that was trying to show some type of tone that was supposed to be awesome. However, to me and my ears, as well as many others (that you guys apparently think are snobs), the guitar playing got in the way of really showing what kind of "tone" was trying to be shown. I'm sorry, but I actually at first turned it off and didn't listen to the whole thing because the playing was so...amateurish. I then went back and listened to the whole thing. I still believe the playing to be just that.
And now knowing that the post was simply trolling to begin with, I really have no respect for the original post.
I criticized the playing because tone can be a direct result of your playing and what you're playing through. Please see the playing of Adam Jones if you (or anyone else who may chime in) don't believe this to be true. Clearly, now we know that the ONLY thing the troll was trying to acomplish was to start some type of "I knew you'd say that" crap with the people on HCFX. As such, perhaps his playing was even more shoddy than it normally would be (though I've heard NOTHING to indicate this), but I take nothing back that I said about his posting of his very amateurish guitar playing. Here is a portion of his post on his playing ability from #93 on that HCFX thread:

How is what I wrote any different?
