Pretty much all of these pitch shifting pedals sound terribly out of tune and warbly to me, sadly. The POG/HOG are still the only ones that I can use and not be annoyed, but they have their limitations and it feels like nobody has really improved on that tech/DSP in almost 20 years now, not even EHX.
I feel similarly. I hear them and my ears melt, in a not pleasant way. But I love the HOG: Wish it were stereo and smaller.
I had hopes that the new chip would allow for better sounds than the old FV1 stuff but nope, not yet.

I feel like we've been through this, but the HOG is additive, correct? I always loved how hyugge that thing is/was, but it's weird to think that now they're entering an era of vintage prices that feel unreasonable (for me to lay down my burdens and cry). I cannot imagine shrinking the footprint of that tech would be feasible in a foot pedal format, but I dunno enuff, perhaps (still the best OG lettering in the game, though, and you know EHX would fudge that right up given the chance).
Also I didn't know Beigel was selling a new Bi-Phase for Chase Bliss dollhairs, so now I am sad, but not as much as the ppl developing those plagarismo di plagarismo mini synths (sorry, VVendy Carlos).
Please also keep in mind that VVC, like many ppl mentioned in this thread, has a penchant for litigation, which is also making me sad for future generations, but all of these parties have their own quarrels with the world that will somehow envelop us all anyway, no matter how small or large the pedals or synths we keep, or will be caught holding the day so & so etc. etc. the Curly Shuffle.
your last statement is well taken
therefore let us repeat, "Why take shots at Behringer? It gives yourarticlewebsite a cynical and negative vibe.
Excite us about new music tech and save us the smack talk"

fever dream sounded cool until i found out that it int stereo and sums the input. also i got the impression first you could route the voices to different fx?
I'll only believe it if there's no mention of a switch upgrade in the press release

I'm just glad they captured the true DL4 essence by making it so ugly you can't look at it without wanting to cover it in paint or stickers or whatever.

looks like the helix switches to me.
why though? are delay pedal not beyond what the dl4 did? i have never owned one so i probably dont get it. i feel like they are limiting themselves tbh. they could have made an entirely new delay pedal based on all the helix stuff and whatever.
probably on the same level of annoyance as eventide making the single algo things instead of revamping the factors
hope they at least make an fm4mkii to go with ...or dm4

DL4 is all about the lööps. the delay sounds were always meh.
the stomp layout /feature set is awesome and nothing since has been anywhere near as fun to perform with IME.
i love the FM4 to death also but after hearing how vanilla the 'exact same' algorithms sounded once ported to their later pedals I have pretty low expectations there.

these look pretty crazy and have been getting lots of attention in the bass-sphere...
