On the other hand I’m kinda thankful to this thread in helping make up my mind to stop making this type of music.. while I enjoy a lot of this stuff I think the over saturation has begun and I’m hearing too many similar things over and over and it is time for me to move on

Happy Drone Day, y'all!
To coincide with the day, the large-format drone ensemble I help organize is releasing our first "professionally-recorded" album today. Eighteen musicians in a circle around an ambisonic microphone!
The first piece is an open composition by one of our members, created to be accessible to performers of all skill levels, giving us some structure to go somewhere and arrive somewhere together.
