Not that I want to drag this thread back on topic and away from skincare but the Digitech fucking rips. I like it as much as a DOD and the mixer out is actually really useful. “Money well spent”.

I took a job working out in the community earlier this year and I became crazy for staying out of the sun. I’m like an office goth (although I only own one flanger!) and every day I spray on sunscreen, use a lip balm with SPF 30 and wear a hat. I may use “whatever my wife buys” for moisturizer but sun care is no joke. I fucking love winter and I hate the sun.

Nice! Glad to read that about the digitech... again, I can probably acquire one for $30.
I come alive in Winter. Shut down in Summer. Not a huge fan of the Sun either. Kind of want to do my next vacation in Alaska during the 30 days of night.

The only tracks I've actually used a Death Metal on was compilation track for my old powerviolence/fastcore band, but for years, I've had it in the back of my mind that I'd love to start some kind of indie rock band with guitar tone based around the Death Metal. I got mine for $35 shipped and it came in mint condition, in the original box with all the "case candy" lol. The best possible answer to "what's a great DM type pedal?"...more Death Metals. The Digitech ones are probably dirt cheap by this point, but I still like the old school blood splatter one and I have a soft spot for that era of DOD pedals in general.

Also...

Luke warm water, Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser (non-foaming), Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Hydrating Toner (alcohol free), Cerave Daily Moisturizer. Exfoliating twice a week, changing pillowcase once or twice a week. Being on HRT doesn't hurt either, but that's a much more niche approach to better skin

Mmmm yeah, I would def not recommend testosterone for better skin haha.

Oh yeah...my androgen blocker is commonly used as an acne treatment for cis women, because it's a diuretic. So that also helps too, although I didn't really have an acne problem before anyway. If you're ok with all the weeping and no boners, Estradiol is great for the skin

I feel like a person who has a board full of nothing but DOD Death Metal pedals, doesn't ever go to the doctor. They feel something wrong, but don't want to know what it is. One more DM will probably mask the symptoms anyway.

Indeed, goes for the Grunge as well. I've tried a bunch of AMTs, Sansamps and multi-fx too, but kept the Digitech because it sounds good, requires no fuckery, and the cab sim on the mixer out still works whether the pedal is switched on or off.

I am still working on a grunge. There’s one guy about 3 hours away with one for sale for very cheap but he won’t ship. I won’t drive 6 hours to buy a Grunge. But I really want to A/B it next to the Bass Grunge.
