Dude, Ruins are unimpeachable. Are you going to stab them or your ears, btw? Or, I guess Ruins is just one guy now, so you could staple his and your ears together and become the new bass player?
Thanks for the protip! I do, however, feel like listening to Genesis or Camel or something when listening to bands like this. Sorta wish they had a more modern sound, since we live in the future times and whatnot. I get the retro thing, but come on, put some fucking oscillating fuzz on that bitch! That being said, here is a great Norwegian band drawing heavily on Caravan:
On the vein of 70's prog with modern elements there are bands like Haken though, although they sometimes bring a little too much Dream Theater in the Mix --but when they are on point boy are they on point.
