I have a Raspberry Pi laying around that I have toyed around with making into a looper.
I don't know how to embed vimeo vids.

-two loops independent or chained
-stop button that either stops at the end of the loop (one press) or immediately (two presses)
-dl4 style single play
-reverse/half speed
-fx loop
-lp/hp filter per loop
-stereo
-not gargantuan
It's not much to ask for.

Boss RC-505
But...
gargantuan

Exactly, with my hobbies and current living space something like that is entirely out of the question. It's really the only item on that list I wouldn't be able to compromise on.
I do know how to code though, so my pedal making itch is awakening from its dormant statr. I just have to get the materials and learn.

Then why you simply don't Mobius or SooperLooper? You must have a PC at home and a spare USB keyboard, you'd only need a cheap ass audio interface.

Hardware is much more important to some people like me. The interface does impact creative workflow. I would never want to bring a laptop to a show.

^^^^
My ipad has amazing looper-like apps, but I can't deal with using my ipad with my guitar, especially for shows.

Which is a shame because it's going on 6-7 years old and some other loopers still can't touch it but it is slowly becoming outdated.
If X4 hadn't been such a dud I think it would have been a rang killer.
Looks like good news on the horizon!
---------------------------------
From Boomerang website:
"Woohoo! Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. Boomerang has been sold. An enthusiastic and dedicated individual has been found, terms have been negotiated and we are in the process of transitioning to new management.
To all retailers, old and new, Boomerang products should be available in 3 to 4 months.
To all the players looking to purchase our products, we say "Hold on; I'm comin' "."
---------------------------------
Also if anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area (silicon valley / peninsula) has a Boomerang III, I'm really interested in testing out "Bro-sync" - PM me, I mainly want to just try it for 1/2 hour to see if it's worth me getting a 2nd Boomerang. Or if there's a pedal of mine you want to try out for a couple of days to do a temporary swap.

I wonder if prices are gonna drop. I'm glad someone bought them though. I really want a sidecar!

This reminded me of something that happened a few years ago during SXSW. Some band was using a laptop for backing tracks live but they left it partially in the sun it overheated and crashed. I think they were only two songs in to their set.

I saw a guy spilling beer on his amp on the first song, they played with no bass lol.

I forget which thread it was in but I called Mike at Boomerang in the summer of 2015 and had a long conversation...he (rightly, I'm sure) didn't think there was enough of a market for the stuff we'd want.
