This thread exists because of my actions on Talkbass.

I felt that the comments were made directly at me, and I was a touch defensive.

I think that setting up a troll raid on a neighboring sub-forum and documenting it in real time, ON THE FORUM, is one of the silliest things I've seen in forever. Criminal masterminds of stoogian proportions. That said, given the rules of Talkbass, EVERYONE knew there would be blowback. Half of the commentary was 'oh man, we are so getting banned for this' and 'if we get banned, worth it.'

Then I see this thread over here complaining about 'how dey done been wronged" by the mods, and figured it would be fun to defend myself, since I was the only mod who acted on it!

Dude, this whole thing happened because you were irresponsible with your power when drunk. You have absolutely no defense. At all. You fucked up. I'm. Im not gonna say that there were a couple people that should've been reprimanded, but man, you fucked up. There's nothing to defend.

If you're using a laptop or comp you can just save files to the desktop and the right click and stretch/skew them to the right size and then use the add attachment thing at the bottom and add it then hit place inline once it's loaded... I sounds hard but is super easy...

And this site is much more enjoyable on desktop. I can deal with this for sure. Just got to adjust my eyes to it.

Now to go figure out how to post other things like my profile pic and such. Thanks for all the tips so far ILF'ers. Its nice to be somewhere where I dont have to worry about the language I use and not be reported for it.

And, I tried PM'ing Paul about the situation on TB. Im over it. It is very clear to me that we will lose and they will win. I was blown off for the most part in the most PC way possible. I get it, its their site, but I think its kinda shitty you can let people be "mods" that do what dude did and then back it up on top of it. I only really frequent the Effects forum anyway, I like the guys that are there for the most part. But Im over the BS kaka

irresponsible? I hide the thread from view overnight after four reports came in on it late on a Friday night? This is my irresponsible use of power? I love how hitting the delete button with a mouse is now the divide for having a 'god complex', and that my dangerous drunk moderating is leading to the decline of all that is holy (hail satan). For mods, there is literally a 'restore post' button forever held in place where the post used to be, but hey...
