Ruled out Ringo Starr. Sorry Ringo. I don't have $140 for you.
Got it down to
William Basinski and
Chance The Rapper.
D.o.S., your opinion has been taken into heavy consideration...

One of them inspires music, one of them inspires Tumblr gifs.

Or, both of them inspire different kinds of music, but one of them also inspires Tumblr gifs. If you look at it that way, Basinski is slacking...

I mean I know how important it is for you to stay #relevant bb but I wouldn't pay $40 to be the oldest white kid in a room full of white kids to watch a rapper no one in your #targetmarket is going to give a shit about in 2 years esp. when you can go see Basinski for half of that.

I went with Basinski. I am sure it was the right decision. But I will hold you at least partially responsible if it sucks.

HOLY SHIT, BASINSKI WAS THE RIGHT DECISION.
Thanks for the spiritual guidance.
He did "The Deluge" and "The Deluge (Denouement)." Holy shit, more like William BASSinski, amirite? "Denouement" vibrated the venue.
The best part was, after he played that, he said, "Okay, we're gonna do something special then, something I do once in a while. For special people, like you. Some... dessert after you've eaten your broccoli and green beans." And he did about 25 minutes of "dlp 1.1" from The Disintegration Loops I. Be still my heart.
The whole evening was amazing. Can't believe I was considering not going. I was on some shit, I admit it.

We should change the tile of this thread to "What shows are going to see?" or something. I like talking/sharing experiences about shows.
I just bought my ticket to see FUZZ next week

Because I am clearly an old fart, I am getting amped to see Voivod, Killing Joke, Prong and Black Sabbath in 2016. Not all at once, though I think that could work as a quadruple bill.
