Anyway, guys, hot tubes? Any 70s/80s EHX you wanna see make a come back?
It has a 3PDT but the way its wired is weird - there is a small cap always in the bypassed signal. Super easy fix (maybe they've changed it now?).
I get frustrated with ehx because it always feels like I'm so close to loving everything they make but no. Despite that I still think they are one of the most progressive and exciting companies out there.
Oh right, where did you find that out? I seem to recall there were some early re-issues that were wired funny (and definitely some black russians) I think they've probably changed that now, weird.
DarkAxel wrote:anyway... I want them to PROPERLY reissue stuff in RI format. The size is great and practical, but they need to do the innards right, dammit
They do when possible, some times the parts just aren't available though so we get re-designs instead.
I can't see any reason this wont be 1 on 1 to the original, except they might bring up the input impedance but that's no bad thing.

But would a radioactive fuzz be a bad thing really? In theory...
AND I JUST SAW THE KNOCKOUT HAS BEEN REISSUED AS WELL WTF WHERE HAVE I BEEN?
Dude, that's been out for like... 5 years at least

PS: Mike Matthews is on record saying v7 muffs weren't actually made from recycled tanks. It's urban myth and folklore.
They were made at a plant that had been used for military contracting; so yeah surplus military parts were used, but were limited to the electronics inside...

No I know they weren't 'actual' tank metal, I should hope the russians weren't trying to protect there soldiers with what we use to kick on stage.Zipper & Bad Stone are top of my list, Deluxe Octave Multiplexer is probably too complicated for them to bother with when they have the POGs, plus it needs a redesign for some out of production parts.
