yup, thats me. I was sold by the solid presentation and the fat list of builders who had "signed on" to build carts.PumpkinPieces wrote:
If you invested in the Console you're naive or didn't do your research on how Devi has a big history of not being able to follow through with big projects. e.i. The Workhorse.
C'mon though that's rubbish. So because she fucked up in the past we can't get mad that she blew 20/40,000 of a kickstarter? Man I love her fuzzes but that's a load of shit.Fuzzy_Nuts wrote:yup, thats me. I was in for 250. She sent me a hundo about 6 months ago and promised me a Dwarfcraft Great Destroyer. Still waiting for the fuzz. Lesson learned.
Well considering how you registered to post about Devi and the subject matter you're posting about you seem to have an agendaMsstringthing wrote:I come on mainly to read stuff.wfs1234 wrote:D.o.S. wrote:Do you only come here to post Devi updates?
I happen to see her stuff on twitter, so I bring it up.
kickstarter is starting to heat up and there have been some lawsuits recently (I really like the idea of kickstarter, but stuff like this does ruin it - so that's n interest too_
fuzz types come and go, and I like that, but people getting the shaft...nah, not into that
Does it bug you that I bring up news about it?
Yep. If devi had just run off with the money PumpkinPieces gave her to build his custom God Machine pedal and never gave him anything in return, I can pretty much guarantee you, he wouldn't be saying, "Well, it's my own fault, because I know devi is flaky. I won't complain."fiddelerselbow wrote:C'mon though that's rubbish. So because she fucked up in the past we can't get mad that she blew 20/40,000 of a kickstarter? I don't think PP actually said anywhere that you can't be mad or complain about it. He's just saying that a lot of people (myself included) had one motherfucking hell of a hunch that it was doomed from the beginning just because of who was running it.onyxrhino wrote:Yep. Yeah, Im not blaming my self or anything and I'm definitely not giving her a pass based on her history, but the warning signs were abundant and I chose to ignore them and throw my money into the fire anyway. Again, the presentation on kickstarter was great imo and the big list of great builders, who were used to sell the project, is what got me. Great scam, but yeah, fuck her. She deserves the misery.bigchiefbc wrote:I don't think PP actually said anywhere that you can't be mad or complain about it.
