to a certain extent, yes. even though the amp and effect models aren't totally accurate, they're close enough to give a sense of e.g. the difference between a 6(x)6 amp and an EL84 amp, a plate reverb sim, or different types of chorus/trem/Univibe.

I ditched the Timeline cause it was way more flavors of delay than I ever need (I'm a simple boy when it comes to repetitive noise), but the looper was aight.
The Mobius would be more useful to me in a studio, but I STACK MODULATION, there, I said it...
Filter into Ring Mod into Phaser into Chorus? Um... yes, duh. What am I, the bass/guitar player from Roadhouse?
Also, since the filter is first in the chain on the guitar board, and I have several effects between it and the next modulation, the Mobius would be impracticable for live use, for me. Again, for me, always, for me, me, me.
So, again, for me, if I could not only stack the effects within the Mobius, but also put them anywhere in the chain I prefer, then it would be an uber useful effect. Until then, I'll keep shopping for a relay/loop/effects order switcher and be happy in the knowledge that I have the best (for me) individual modulation effects available anywhere on my board and stacked any way I like.
It reminds me of the M5/M9/M13 thingies, good for playing around with effects noise until you find the ones you like and go out and buy individual and unique effects by different manufactures that are individually made to be the most awesome of their kind, like I'm already doing now.
Still, if I could actually afford to own effects I kinda use sometimes maybe, then I'd buy one of these today, just cause it looks like a shit-ton o' fun!
Mostly true....but with the pre/post thing, you COULD have the the filter first and then have other pedals "between" the next modulation you'd use from the Mobius.

for sure. i think it sucks butts that it doesn't stack it's own effects and i'd prefer a more M9'y layout. but there are a few modes on thar i'm super escited about. i think three. and just those will make it way worth it's board space to me.
but i lurv the TL so much i'm 90% sold on the Mobber because of how awesome the TL is.
