I saw him do a demo in the early 90's at a guitar shop in Temple of all places with his Double V guitar and he was spinning it...

He's a nice guy and has flawless technique, maybe the best economic fingering today. And the pedal sounds supercool, vol and gain maxed, tone at 10 o'clock into an already overdriven amp or dirt box. Smooth and liquid tone! Should've never sold it...

Mostly I hate on the designs that are slick, but still retarded. but OMG this thing is so homely I want to bury it behind the shed and never talk about it at the dinner table again.

Everything from Tortuga:

Almost every one of theirs looks horrible and has poor knob placement; not that they necessarily sound horrible.

The knob placement is such a flipping deal breaker
plus I have no clue based on the names what those knobs even do

Super disappointing that I have read this far and not found a joke about economical fingering

Yeah, from what I've read people seem really happy with these pedals. The look of them makes me not even want to try one though.

since no one has mentioned Strymon, I will. I feel the aesthetic is so cold, dry, lifeless, and sterile. It is not the worst but yuck yuck yuck!!!!
