No issues dealing with him at all, would buy again.

Custom orders from builders pretty much always take more time than quoted.

If I need something off the rack, I buy off the rack from someone who has it in hand.

Workmanship on mine is top-notch, as was everything in the last tourbox I played with.

well, i'm not trying to slam him, but..... yeah. i mean, i've had loads of custom work done. and i'm okay with a bit of delay. even a somewhat significant delay. if it's handled well.

and i felt like he blew me off and pretty much lied about progress then gave me a picture of something that was about as diametrically opposed to what we'd discussed as possible.

was mebbe the worst experience i've had with a builder.

Yea, doesn't sound great.

I let builders do what they need to do with customs, I'm usually gunning for a particular sound or theme, and layout/art/knob position etc is irrelevant to me.
