Every time EGC posts a new guitar, it makes me re-assess every guitar I have owned.

I put my order in for S2 Custom last week, I got quoted 15 weeks..

I'm having the body modelled on a PRS Custom 22 in a quilted transparent Black Grey colour. I've got a thick neck, one volume and tone knob w/pup switch. Ive seen some pictures with a dark Aluminum neck but apparently theyre not really recommended. Kinda bummed, but I know I'll be happy either way.

I so don't need it, but I never impulse buy anything

I have a couple weeks to cram as much learning in just to justify my purchase.

I hope he's still making them by the time I manage to save up the money for one.

$20 a week is $80 a month is $960 a year.... 2 and a half years to a EGC Guitar???

Im happy that I had my money for my first deposit, then I have more than enough time to finish saving while it's being built. Thank fuck for steady Paychecks. I'm getting this as my final 'juvenile' expensive purchase while I'm saving to buy my own place sometime next year.

I'm not happy about $150-200 dollars for shipping from USA to AUS, but I'm getting a guitar better than a Gibby LP trad (the other thing that I was considering) for less and to my own specs.
:idk:

Neatooooooo that looks awesome

Had some time last night to play around with the Kramer, I've been trying to get after James Plotkin's tone from Khanate, kind of pushed SVT aluminum sound without actually having an SVT... Found it last night using a RAT clone with LED clipping. SERIOUSLY HEAVY SOUNDING. Everyone with aluminum should own a RAT and push it into tubes.

this is exactly what I do. My setup for the grind band I play in is my baritone -> lm308 rat -> plexi.

Does anybody else get irritate at frequency which people ask him about his prices on the egc Facebook? All the prices are posted. Couldnt be any clearer. Dont be such a cracker.

EDIT: I just want to point out my awful, awful grammar.

That's why my first email was about putting in a deposit in before I even mentioned the price. I feel sorry for anyone that is game enough to make popular custom instruments.
