Yes.

If you find one of these, let me know:

Although, I think you'd be happy with an A/DA Flanger (or clone thereof).

'warm' is a word i wouldn't often associate with flangers in general but maybe an A/DA is worth looking at? i think you might be after something with a polarity switch.
also the behringer FL600 is pretty great for the price depending on what you're after, it has a very colored sound but does an enormous range of things and the tape/digi/analog switch will make it brighter or warmer sounding.
the new moog mf flange looks neat too.

Cloakroom is really cool. Bobby is awesome on bass. Native played in my living room a few years ago with La Dispute and everyone killed it.

Can't decide betwixt BF-2, Electric Mistress, or the MF flange assuming that one checks out

i would grab a MIT BF-2 for cheap and go from there, if it wasn't ideal it'd be easier to know what you're really after. They're the sort of pedal that's just worth owning for how useful they are vs. cost, if you don't like the flange sounds you can use it as a comb filter or max the res. trimpot and use it as an oscillator

Goddamn this thread has me gassing for a flanger all over again

I maxed out my pedal budget for the rest of the year though :s
And the choralflange, flanger hoax, cosmichorus etc type of peds would be way overkill for me.

I'm thinking electric mistress or HF-2 or Pearl FG-01.

Flange has always been a bit too overbearing for me, kinda like a rude version of Phasing, which is already borderline annoying for me. I know of a handful of awesome classic flange'd intros and riffs, but when I try it it sounds like my tone is being eating by a fucking jet plane. Unless I dial in a more subtle setting, but for those purposes I kinda prefer how a phaser or chorus doesn't swoooosh so much :idk: I just never know how to put modulation effects to good use

The Pearl is the most versatile of the three you're thinking of.

Our friend greeny's got one up on eBay right now:

this one may end up being a little cheaper though without the shipping from Oz:

if you want a more subtle effect the HF-2 is really cool. because the flanged signal is an octave up it doesn't really bounce off your playing or bottom out like some others can.
most 4 knob japanese flangers (pearl, boss, yamaha, korg, whatever you can get really) will be versatile enough to give you something neat if you spend some time fine tuning. it sounds like you might want something with a blend knob though. or just a vibrato pedal. vibrato is the best entry-level modulation IMO.

the olf korf 3300 delay was neat for flange/chorus because it had the 3 delay lines, so you coud do a lot with them.
it's on the larger side though and I know a lot of guy are allergic to rackmounts

I think one of the cheapie (maybe the B word??) does a knock off hi-band flanger.
I really like those little guys. They aren't as whooooshhhhhyyy as other flangers which is kind of the point. It doesn't hit you over the head and get cloying after 30 seconds.
It's a nice animator changing he tone more than adding mushy warble of a chous (which, really is just a flanger at a higher time range and usually no regen) that can kind of defocus the sound

I almost always turn the regeneration/feedback all the way or almost all the way down on my flangers--sounds way less like what a flanger is "supposed" to, but I like it that way....
