Did you send just the 10.00 downpayment or all? I only had like 12 dollars in my bank account and I sent the 10 dollars anyway

Yes the pre-order is just the 10$.
So 11.50$ for us in Quebec (stupid taxes).

Yeah, $10 CAD = $10.1368 US (stupid no common currency for all of North America).

It's less expensive for you guys in the US... due to all those taxes we have in Quebec (hard to understand).

Local taxes aren't that hard to understand, sylnau.
You live in the same locale as the seller of said merchandise. Many of us don't live in Quebec.
If I bought something from a local seller in my locale, I'd have to pay my local taxes. If you bought the same item, you wouldn't.

No I totaly understand.
Most of the time I order pedals prom the US or from Ontario (Canada) just because of that.
It's less expensibe to purchase outside of my province.
That's how the system work... but to me it doesn't make sence.
But anyway even with the taxes it's a very good price. Thanks Guillaume.

well, i'm as happy as anyone to see the new RR arriving, but i have to be the fly in the ointment and point out that it was blurbed as going to be more affordable than the original one and it's really not.

You're nitpicking. It's slightly more affordable. I believe I paid $325 for mine and that was a couple years ago. How is $300 really not less than $325?
