sheesh, wanting a dozen was pushing it, but 24 is just gluttonous.
i think the problem is due to people now thinking your pedals are edible.
can I get 1
before that guy takes them ALLLLL
i promise to only lick it for the flavour.

The vinyl finises were actually fruit roll-ups, probably still edible to this day. The new boxes are a survivalist chocolate, so musicians won't have to eat each other in the Andes.
I'm gonna make both you guys 24 CCs, a dozen for eating and a dozen for your pedalboard.

Even though my Dr Scientist pedals look very delicious, I will absolutely be murdering and eating other musicians in the Andes before I resort to eating them

That would explain the naked Frazz Dazzler that keeps popping up over in the b/s/t.
Oh, and Ryan, I'll only take 6.... I'm on a diet.

Oh man you shouldn't have revealed this info. My "Off The Airberator" looks delicious now that I know fruit roll-ups are involved! I love that finish though, must refrain from eating.

I found a lot of 18V issues last night...
Still LOVING my V2 Green Galaxy. And the new one will run 18V? As I understand, higher voltages allow for a higher headroom, right?

Haha yeah! The poor nudie Dazzler... that was something we always knew would be possible with the vinyl finishes, that a person could just peel the whole thing off if they so chose... we just didn't think anybody actually would!

Right on! The new CC sounds basically the same as your V2. It will run on 18V and 18V does sound really good, it brings out the swirl more prominently and just sounds really good. There's situations where I personally think 18V does or does not make a difference... like with the Elements, noticeable difference, but the Trem, I don't think the signal cares in that pedal. It cares with the old BBD chips I guess.
This new version has better headroom in general but I'm not sure how much better it is at 18V.. I'm still experimenting with that but I feel like when I wail away (in an excessive way) on my 7 string with EMGs I can get it to clip at 9V and 18V. (that's when set fully wet, the headroom when mixed is much better)
The thing with making an analog chorus pedal is it's a really tough balance between 3 things: headroom, sound quality, and background noise. Getting even 1 of them perfect is a challenge but you just can't have all 3, it's a 3-way compromise that's always gonna disappoint somebody. Through the years there's been people who've found the CC to be too noisy or too low head room and they'd probably still think the same with this new one.
I've been working on it lots this week and weekend, I think it owns.
