Yeah that's high for me but I see the allure of it.

Oh yeah, I think that's where I got my AC10. How much do they want for the preorder?

$400, free shipping within the US; http://www.pedalshark.com/ciokolate/

Will wait to see what the EuroGomi's end up charging and if the thing comes with a simple switch to go from 120V to 230V before ordering. Being able to power everything including the Moogs, Rusty Box and eventual Echolution (300mA/15V) off one single thing is worth the price.

Their lower priced stuff comes with a 110/230 V switch, so by all rights the flagship should too. They take standard amp style power cables as well, so if you find a good price in Europe you can just buy it with a European cable no worries.

But we have like 1 million per cent VAT in most European countries, so it's going to be cheaper in the States.

i thought they ship out of Germany or something? doesn't that dodge the VAT? or am i being a goof and just going on the Cioks name sounding all sexy angry Germanic?

Close enough, it's Denmark. Whenever a EU company ships a product to a EU citizen they have to charge VAT. The smaller shops charge the VAT rate of their own country. However once the annual sales total goes over a certain amount to a specific EU country, that country's VAT rate needs to be applied. For some bizarre reason every EU country has a different threshold amount and it didn't seem related to population size. VAT rate also varies quite a bit, it's as low as 15% in Luxembourg and upto 25% for Scandinavian countries. The Netherlands is raising the rate to 21% from 19%, probably on October 1st, but might be 2013, that'd also affect the custom rapage.

I really need to marry an American living in a city with a NHL franchise.

I like the fay's her....best sounding phaser I've tried. The Super Zilla was one of my first real pedals...I'm just used to it my board feels off with out it.

Well the 4545 likes it best with other things going into it. I also needed something to patch the out of the space to my amp.

Beautiful board as always. I have serious Anti-Nautilus GAS!

Also, what are your thoughts on the Super Ego? I'm intrigued by those...

First of, its going to be hard to walk around work today with the raging hard on I have gotten from this picture. Secondly, having played the super ego, it is exactly like the freeze but it allows you to stack two phrases so you get that synth like sound. a really cool pedal.
