Eh I haven't found anything other than a couple minor differences, not enough to justify spending 3-3.5k with how broke I usually am.

Officer Bukowski wrote:So MEC you grabbed that for $255 with or without shipping? Either way is cheap but if they ship it free that's like a crazy awesome deal
The original price was $349 and I got 15% off so the total was $296.65 shipped.
It worked out perfect because I had a $300 gift card.
They are also running a shipping special so I got upgraded to Priority for free.

Most of my new pedz are in the making (Fuzzhugger AB-Synth Supreme, McSpunckle Lardy Ass, Mr Black Eterna...) so I pulled the trigger on a combo similar to the below but with a Jupiter III G and the TCM both in lime green and black printscreen to make some sweet noise whilst I patiently wait...

So I was talking to a friend about the Moog stuff I got, he has a Eurorack modular synth. He swears there is a work-around to make pitch-to-voltage conversion way smoother and reliable for bass use. Is this the path to financial ruin?
I will listen to some of his sound clips before making a decision.

The FreqBox isn't tracking the bass so well huh? Any idea if the MiniArk tracks bass at all?

The FreqBox probably isn't the best way to do bass->cv. It's not actually tracking anything, it just hard-syncs its oscillator to the incoming signal if you want which can be really cool but you don't exactly get a nice smooth signal, it can be a pretty weird waveform that comes out.

I could give it a go.
You hooked the tm-1 up to it?
