I have a pink sparkle + sharpie version of the prototype -- excellent at tone shaping and being an extremely tweakable OD->Dist, the comp knob in the middle shifts from asymm/symm distortion, no clean boost unfortunately. The send/return for each EQ band weren't perfected yet (either pre or post didn't work right yet, so it does a blend instead), but it's still useful

I probably wouldn't pay more than $220 for the prototype (but I'm cheap!), at this price it's great and his listing has been up for months, so good chance he'd accept lower (altho if you wanna trade for one instead lmk!)

Missed the rush for the EQD/Sunn O)))/Reverb sale and the following capitalistic vulgarity?

Here's a great chance to get the tone and save some money.

This unit has been built using a manufactured pcb (not point to point on vero) and features 0.6w 1% resistors, NOS germanium diodes perfectly matched for forward voltage (for the octave section), and a hand painted custom 1590XX enclosure.

This unit features a third foot switch for switching the octave section on/off.

The Life pedal is basically a Rat + octave + booster. The booster can be utilised independently, the Rat and octave functions are paired.

Three position toggle switch for the diode clipping in the Rat section.

This unit is a fraction of the price of the EQD, and features a monstrous tone befitting the almighty Sunn O)))

Will be posted tracked and fully insured.

* There is a quickly uploaded a video demo on YouTube of one of my previous listings which had a different paint scheme. Please excuse the quality of the camera mic and scrappy playing! It's just there to illustrate the tonality, and I think the power of the unit was a bit too much for the camera mic to handle!

Not to get into any hooey (who has the time for hooey anymore), but somehow I thought EQD was going to do another run of that sucker? Even if so, gas induced vulgarity will remain as such, because that's why they call it money (great for soaking up a tirade in a pinch!).

But the most offensive thing about that clone is the Sunn0))) logo - c'mon, now! And maybe even the clone price
