Also, just jammed out with this combo.

Dingwall, B7K, Bass. That's it and I was having a blast playing.

The Okko certainly has a run for it's money. I still like that additional footswitch on the Okko though and the fact that it has a really nice tone as well. I haven't tried them together yet...that's next I guess.

I really like how the B7K has so much more in options on it.

Stop fuckin around, sell it and the other 4 basses that you have, get one total keeper. Be paient and don't trade for other basses unless they are worth way more, then sell that bass.

We have had a decent amount of shows recently but now we haven't booked anything else for a bit. We worked on some stuff and then we fucked around and switched instruments. I was playing the drums and I was just loving the sound of my bass. It was cool to hear someone else play it (guitarist). That Dingwall sounds so damn good.

I have to say, now that I've gone through 2 gigs and 4 rehearsals, the G&L and the Ric can basically cover any tone I want, period. It's basically come down to using the G&L whenever I want a cleanish clanky or really low heavy sound, and using the Ric for hard rock-ish middy stuff. I know this would make TB heads explode, but I really think that between these two basses, I can basically cover any sound I want. I am ridiculously contented with my bass tone at this point.
