I did some hand lettering today for my bands drum set. "Wolf Cola" is the band. Wanted to do it varsity style.

It's just acrylic with a brush and masking tape. I have a bit of a background in sign painting but I haven't done it in years

LOVE the colours on that one. Probably my favourite coloured piece you've posted here.
Here's a small preview of something I'm working on. Screen print and copic marker ink.
gonna be part of five or six pieces I'm doing for this:
dunno if any of youse apart from Iommic Pope are actual brisbanites but yeah. I'm also playing a noise set at the opening on the 27th march and if all goes well will have CDrs with cool hand-made packaging.
This is another thing that will be part of my pieces in the exhibition. All ink on card.

awesome. Are you using just watercolour or markers as well?

Thanks dude. The colors always come out a lot brighter in the computer because I have to photograph the pieces and edit them to approximate their actual tones. The last two pieces have been watercolors (PH Martin's Hydrus) and FW inks. I'm starting to like the inks a lot more because they don't blend once you put them down. You can darker inks over lighter ones with less fear of the two colors mixing.\
I wish I had a show coming up..... I need to get on it but I hate dealing with "art people" ironically enough.
