I was going for a no-kills run in Metal Gear Solid 3 on the Extreme difficulty a couple years ago...I worked on that for weeks. At the end of the game...I had 1 kill. It was probably something really stupid too, like one of those flying guys crashing after getting caught in a stun grenade.
Also, I've had a 94.6% save file on MGS2: Substance since 2004. Can't beat the hardest sniping missions using a ps2 controller, it's just impossible.

that is how controllers get broken.

Me and my friend have about 97%, those last missions are just so impossible. We still have drinking+gaming sessions where we try them until 5 in the morning though. Every game would be improved by VR missions.

I got up to the horrible escort eva part in MGS3 with no kills+no alerts once, but I just couldn't do that part.

I bought Hard Reset on the Steam pre-order discount...fun game, but tough. The weapons' dealt-damage could be a bit higher IMO. It does seem to have a bunch of re-play value, tho.

I wish there was a good sim-type racing game on PC. SHIFT 2 has been described as a bad port in the reviews I've read...there's some super serious F1 racing game, but I'm not into that.
I just want Forza or Gran Turismo's PC equivalent. I want to tune my GTO for max acceleration and murder people on the starting line/in corners. Just smash into them when they start to pull ahead. It was great fun in Forza, so many hate messages

.
Tuning it so it was one point away from being in the next-highest class was great, nobody would expect it in their class. You could race it just as well as you could knock people out of the race.
I'm not really into the supercars as much as I am the battering rams.
GRID is fun but you can't customize anything apart from the basic looks, and the servers have been shut down. It's only like three years old

As far as being a dickhead while racing goes, nothing is more fun than Road Rash 64.

Find copies of Simbin's
GTR 2 and/or
GT Legends. STUPID-realistic as far as tunings, setups, driving, etc etc etc...for-real cars on for-real tracks with series racing, open racing, trainers against in-game AI drivers/cars, and on-line racing against other human beans. I found a copy of GTR 2 that had GT-L bundled in for $20. Note that there's a bit of an issue installing GT-L onto any system with either Vista or 7, thanks to the disc having Starforce copy protection imbedded in the code. A free digital download is available for GT-L if you prove that you have purchased a physical copy (photos of the disc, box, receipts, etc).

Started Space Marine last night. So far I like Dead Island better, although Space Marine is good. The gameplay reminds me a lot of Bulletstorm.

finding it hard to be motivated in 1v1 ladder, much rather do 2v2 ladder. I think I enjoy the team work aspect more. Does anybody else feel a fuck ton of tension at the beginning of ever 1v1 like there is some evil beast with a rape machine on the other end who has been waiting for me all night. serious anxiety at times.

I am taking a 100% vg hiatus until Star Wars: The Old Republic launches. Luckily EA won't let it miss another christmas.....so November.... then I will probably go back to sucking at music.

Played Terraria for a while but I didn't really know what to do to get any cool items so I quit, maybe I'll have to get on your server

I'm totally burned out on Minecraft now and can't make myself play Terraria either
After people blow up your base/ruin the server enough times it's kinda hard to get the motivation to create some elaborate thing again.
Infinite TNT mods and console commands are only fun for the person using them.

About a month ago me and my friend played like 8 hours of terraria a day, but then we got all the stuff so it got boring. It's still fun, but it needs more direction/objectives, since building and exploring aren't really as interesting as in minecraft. I'm also bored of minecraft, but I'm sure I'll pick them both up again sometime. Like that big minecraft update that just came out...
