24 tracks at a time of simultaneous audio recording is glorious, glorious I say.
All my stuff sounds like it should and I can tweak the mix minutely later.

Yea, I have the GT-10 code in my GR-55 but it only works with the GR-55 equipped stuff unless I do creative wiring.AxAxSxS wrote:can't knock ya for that. I love my GT-10 for everything other than dirt.
near endless tweakability.

I actually played that Budda* already. Sounds like what i want.Tristan wrote:Budda amps are kinda meh, I think they lack true EL84 character, Vox amps are kinda unreliable and the handwired series amps sound like shit in my opinion, you should try my Valvetech next time we see eachother, I think it will be right up your alley.
For the rest there's Matchless and Bad Cat but I didn't like the latest Matchless amps I tried and so far I heard stories from four different people about Bad Cat not being reliable and using cheap Chinese parts in their latest amps.
Just saying, I know you're a tone hound just like me so only the best is good enough, that's all I got...

Gotcha thank you sir.MrNovember wrote:It's probably easiest to look at a schematic. Here's a 3x3:Ugly Nora wrote:What exactly is the benefit of a matrix mixer? What can it do that a "nornal" mixer can't do?
Essentially you can mix any of the inputs to any of the outputs, which is awesome for feedback loops, noise, and DESTRUCTION as ryan pointed out
I'm sure you could do something kind of similar with a normal mixer but I honestly don't want or need 90% of the stuff on a normal mixer (like the EQs, mic inputs, etc.)
