275# and 295# Snatch Deadlift singles

Snatch Deadlift is when you go through the motions of a snatch (up thru the power position to the hips) and its done with a heavy weight so that is slows you down. Focus is maintaining the proper positions and back angle ect as you go through the motion.

Had to take the week off. Deep breaths hurt. Hopefully back at it next week?

how they doing now? i've had some issues with that kind of stuff. lots, actually.

Better...easing back into it with light lifts. No abs or pull ups/pull downs. Still sore to the touch, but I should be 100% in a week or so I hope.

Mostly lifting, I do a WOD every now and then. I do utilize the CrossFit gym for lifting.

Yo Vid! Nice to hear from you. I did just that actually, BB press and OHP. Been strict with SL 5x5 for over a year now...creature of habit.

Fun stuff from sunday

225# Snatch Balance, 215# Snatch Attempt

Max Effort Day: 95-225# Snatch Balance and Snatch Triples (95# and 115#), Snatch Doubles (135#), Snatch Singles (155#,175#,185#,205#)

I actually used hookgrip on every snatch make and attempt, a rarity for me

I looked over the data I had and made a quick chart of my progress on some lifts since I started lifting at CFW
