so... it's up to the Lasik people whether i order my second Dingle or not. i go in for an evaluation appointment Monday. apparently depending on what style they need to do, in my hood it ranges from $500-$2,000 (bullshit prevarication. who the FUCK gets one eye done? 'cept pirates.) an eye, it LOOKS like i'm in the most common cheap range. so if it's around $1-2$ g's, i'm gettin' it DONE. would love to be contact/glassless. but if it's $4 g's i'm using the Tiny Cashes i have saved up for a second Dingley.

....... i kinda want a white body with a dark fretboard. dunno if they'll do one for me in an ABI tho. damnit.

And this is why I have huge amps. That and the fun.

oh yah. for shubbly. i like to be loud. and paul plays LOUD. it's good.

but.... out here i always end up either a small club/bar with no FOH beyond vox and MAYBE a mic for the bass drum, or a mid sized venue where it's best to go through their PA. so, 2 12's is PLENTY.

very cool thanks man, only thing that sucks is that it was set up left handed (it's a right handed bass that they flipped over) So it needs a better nut

Lasik - I looked into it a few years ago and was told that they could probably get me to around 20/50-60 in each eye, but I'd still need some sort of corrective lens for my right eye (which is by far the worst...something like 20/200 un-corrected). Considering that the procedure would have set me back about 3.5K and I'd still need at least one corrective lens, I passed...what's the point?
