That's the one. That kid must have been fucking spaced/high as fuck/high as fuck in space because he could not get right how much gas I wanted while I was talking to him. And he loves him some Laneys.

It's pretty beat up cosmetically, but the wood and (original) speakers are sound. It would be a good opportunity to strip off the remaining tolex and tape and stain it to look all fancy and whatnot.
I know that I should stop buying shit until I'm happy with the shit I have. I know that my tele needs a setup and that I should replace the speakers in my 'ampeg' cab. But I also know this cab is $125, so it's hard to say no right now.
Not a bad cab. Screw that stain garbage and retolex it.

Ugh, trawling gumtree for bands to join is depressing. The only remotely interesting ad on there was for a stoner/"doom" band that listed Sabbath, kyuss (like every other Brisbane "stoner" band) and witch (which is actually cool, but not what I'm looking for). Bleak.

At least you found one... Want to join a country, modern rock or 80's cover band? Move to Alabama! Ugh.

There was 2 SC 410'S with an SC 100 for sale in Massachusetts recently... he didn't want too much for the stack from what I remember!
Definitely would give it a go if you have the extra coin on that 410!

That's pretty much what its here like here in good ol Waldorf, MD. Otherwise, its young kids wanting to get their emo on. I wish I was closer to Baltimore.

I've kinda always wanted to do an alt-country/Hank III sort of thing.
Straight to Hell is the best album ever for chasing the blues away....or drinking them away.

Yeah, it is, I give em kudos for even mentioning it, but if they'd have said Om or Elder instead of Kyuss, and maybe Windhand or Wizard instead of Sabb (cause lets face it, you're playing that kind of music, its a given), I'd have been all over it.
Maybe I'm getting way too picky.
They're looking for a drummer or a singer anyway.
Yeah TJ, its getting hard to find heavy people.

Yeah, this is brisbane. Emo hardcore kids or hipster-indie douchers. Whatever scene is big on triple J right now. Fucking dumbass mafioso run pub scene....

Haha! Ah that sounds like the Gold Coast.

I'm used to hearing hardcore bands, noise/circuit bent jams, drones, and warehouse raves in B-more. I've been some what of a hermit for the last 10 years though. Shame Richmond is further away

Vancouver is tech death central. Decent stoner/doom scene though. When I need band members I just go to shows and talk to people. There is a gross elitist metal mentality here though, not in the doom scene though thank fuck.

I didn't know there was a drone scene in b-more. For me both are equal distance, I prefer Richmond personally.
