having said that, i would probably make an offer on it if i had the money right now.

guess it's a boost/od combo. no idea what a mellowtone od sounds like. on second thought i did have a singing tree once so i guess i sort of do.

anyway, i would probably wait a little while and make him an offer less than 150, that seems like too much. im guessing 125 range for a dual mellowtone?

I preordered one of those super CC/DC pedals and, after all the hype, the actual effect was mediocre to me.
I'm just not a "boost pedal guy".

so i gather this must be the pedal he was taking preorders on when he ran off with the money, so basically the last pedal of the golden age of mellowtone.

fuck $150, this pedal should be selling for $750, it's probably one of a kind because it's probably the only one he actually finished

Nope. There are plenty of these around. He did limited runs of these and the Melx fuzzes. Maybe these were from the time before ILF when it was all via Harmony Central. He seemed like a fun guy with some simple, good sounding pedals. People liked the graphics. He sold them cheap and people ended up flipping for more when they realized they were limited.
