oh gawd. it was SO BAD. i had a few cute things i'd planned on saying - "that's um.... that's Paul.", then later, "that's... still... Paul...". mah head was EMPTY on stage tho. dunno how people do that stuff.

In local news...right now, I have a high school band's drum line literally on my front lawn...the annual band review thingy is today. I live about half a block away from the stadium that hosts it, and each year the neighborhood fills up with bands warming up. And while I really don't want to be that 'Get off my lawn!' guy, they're literally 10 feet away right now, banging away at full performance volume (and scaring the shit out of my cats)...I am SO tempted to turn the sprinklers on.

lol. i FEEL you. i had this horific moment where like 10 kids came to the parking lot at my work, unloaded out of a van and were filming themselves skateboarding, doing rail slides down a little banister, bunch of other dangerous stuff. i skated ALL THE TIME as a kid, but if one of them busted their ass there's a chance we would be liable.... i thought i was going to have to be Old Man Hypocrite and tell them they had to leave. it was the end of the day though, so we just finished and left them to it.

SUCKS getting older and all... responsible sometimes.

lulz. zingy good or zingy bad? i don't know SHIT about strings. i know i like the Dingers, i'm going to try these out if they're long enough on the B. so even if this was some weird thing that turned into an endorsement, i dunno what i'd get out of it if i don't dig on their strings? it's cool that they started making bass specifical effects a bit ago, but i've owned every one of those except the Fuzz, and while they were good stuff, i like what i have bettah.
