"Hey, Arturia, can I copy off your homework?"
"Yeah, just change it up a it so it's not obvious"
"NO FUCK YOU"
How are they allowed to get away with that?
I think we've reached the point where these companies factor in the legal costs and bribes needed to keep the product on the market as part of the R&D budget. Ultimately it's the consumer's fault. If the consumer turned their back on these, they wouldn't make more. It is pretty unbelievable that this happens though.
I can only imagine Boss hate money or they are being super slow on the Waza end to just drive up demand and need and desperation. All I want is a Slow Gear, no slow gear type pedal from another company has been good or like the original. I havent tried the EHX Attack Decay yet, that seems promising. I want a Waza SG-1 so much. A Waza PN-2, and ofcourse, the thing that will literally sell in the millions when it comes out, a Waza HM-2. Hell I doubt I will use that pedal much but I'd still get it and put in on my board.
A friend of mine gave me his Slow Gear for demo recordings (the quite popular video is on YouTube). I was pretty underwhelmed. My KORG X-911 guitar synthesizer can do much more drastic sounds plus many cool things on top and it did cost me less than a beat-up SG-1 would nowadays. Overall you can achieve the SG-1 sound with a cheap volume pedal; presumably with better results.

You know what I do hate? Their font choice and overall look. Good grief, it looks like something a 56 year old woman threw together on Word. Borderline Comic Sans.
